Not all students receive financial aid. In 2009-10, 42% of our full-time students, first-time students attending a post-secondary institution, received a grant. For example only; Based upon the premise that the Expected Family Contribution (EFC) is zero, the maximum Pell Grant for the Award Year 2009/10 was $5350.00. For 2010/11 Award Year the maximum Pell Grant is $5550.00. EFC amounts are determined by information submitted on the Free Application of Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and are based upon financial need.
